¡Feliz cumpleaños Linus!

Hoy (28 de diciembre) es el cumpleaños de Linus Torvalds. Cuando cumplió los 19 juntó unos ahorros y se compró una modesta pc: DX33 80386 con 4 Megas de RAM, sin coprocesador matemático (antes el coprocesador era un chip aparte del CPU) y un disco duro de 40 MB. Hoy el kernel que él escribió está en el 90% de las supercomputadoras más rápidas y está abarcando el mercado de los smartphones. ¿Qué sería del mundo si hubiera gastado sus ahorros en otra cosa?
